Interviews Chat is a web app with Chrome extensions, and it's inexpensive: $19 a month for 1,000 credits, or unlimited for $29 a month or $69 a quarter. It doesn't say its copilot is hidden from screen sharing, though, and its own site suggests using it on a second device whenever screen sharing is required. Refunds are only for a purchase that wasn't delivered or was charged twice. How it's different
Interviews Chat runs in your browser and doesn't claim to stay hidden when you share your screen; its own advice for those rounds is a second device. InterviewWhisperer is a native Mac app whose answer overlay uses macOS's own capture exclusion, so you can share your screen in the same interview. When the interviewer finishes, press ⌘; and a short answer you can say out loud appears, built from your resume and the job description. Screenshot a coding problem with ⌘W for the approach, the code and the complexity. When the call ends you get a recap of every question and what to review.
What "invisible" does and doesn't mean
We're specific about this on purpose. The overlay uses macOS's window-level capture exclusion, so it's left out of screenshots, screen recordings and screen shares that capture through the system. We've tested it in Google Meet and in Zoom, both the desktop app and the browser. In the Zoom desktop app, leave Screen capture mode on Auto (the default) rather than "Advanced capture without window filtering". It isn't a magic cloak: a phone camera pointed at your screen can still see it. You can try it free on your own Mac (30 minutes of live answers, no card) and run the free checker before you pay.
